About Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. Since the first funding, LLS has awarded more than $680 million in research funding. The mission of The LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS has dedicated itself to being one of the top-rated voluntary health agencies in terms of dollars that directly fund their mission.

For their upcoming mission programs they intend to: Continue to fund impactful and relevant blood cancer research in order to accelerate the development of new therapies, increase opportunities for the creation of and participation in new blood cancer clinical trials, and offer all patients access to information and services at all points in their cancer journeys.

The LLS seeks to grow net revenue by: Dramatically increasing the engagement of volunteers across all revenue generating activities. They will access their relationships for additional sponsors, teams and participants. Additionally, the LLS will continue to develop product extensions and partnerships to create new income streams, develop and expand fundraising programs across Canada, build the donor pipeline and enhancing donor stewardship. LLS will continue to evolve as a world class organization by: Engaging staff, volunteers and partners to strengthen and maximize its effectiveness across all programs.
