About Temple Beth-El and Center

Temple Beth El is one of the oldest synagogues in Los Angeles and remains a vital part of San Pedro, the Palos Verdes Peninsula and the Beach Cities. Although the greater community has evolved significantly, Temple Beth El has been a steady presence in San Pedro for over eighty years.

Temple Beth El serves the greater South Bay by providing strong Jewish leadership; diverse educational, musical and cultural programming; and engaging worship services, all in a warm, welcoming and vibrant social community.

As a congregation affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism, they encourage spiritual fulfillment, interfaith inclusion and social action.
